I would like to invite all Southern
Region CFA fanciers to join the new CFA Southern Region list. The purpose of
this list is to promote communication among those who live in the CFA
Southern Region or belong to CFA Southern Region clubs and are interested in
discussing CFA Southern Region specific news and issues. I also hope that
this list will provide an additional avenue for communication between CFA
Southern Region constituents, CFA Southern Region Committee members, and
myself. This list is a monitored list requiring a CFA Southern Region
address or membership in a CFA Southern Region to become a list participant.
The Southern Region list is not meant to be a
duplicate of the cfa list or fanciers list but meant as an arena for
discussion of Southern Region specific ideas. Appropriate topics for the
Southern Region list include:
1. CFA Southern Region shows and
activities.
2. CFA Southern Region committee
information.
3. Southern Region Director communications.
4. Southern Region specific information
relating to such topics legislative information, animal welfare issues, and
purebred rescue.
5. Fundraising ideas for the Southern
Region.
6. Requests for volunteers/participants for
Southern Region activities and committees.

Our Southern Region list administrators will
be using the CFA Directory to verify a Southern Region address. If you are
not in the CFA Directory, they will be getting back to you for address
and/or club affiliation. . This list is NOT an official publication of the
Cat Fanciers' Association.
I am very excited about this list and feel
it will be a great way to help those in the Southern Region keep abreast of
Southern Region ideas, issues, and concerns.
